Your privacy matters

Privacy Policy

We built Tiny Bloom as parents. We treat your family's data the way we'd want ours treated — with complete respect and transparency.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This policy explains how Tiny Bloom collects, uses and shares information when you use the Tiny Bloom app on Android and iOS, the web app and the website at tinybloom.ai (together, “Tiny Bloom”).

1. Who we are

Tiny Bloom is developed and operated by Partora (“Partora”, “we”, “us”), Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Partora is the developer of Tiny Bloom on Google Play and the App Store, and the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. Summary

  • We collect what you enter about your family so the app can work: profiles, logs, health records, routines and meals.
  • If you use voice logging, the app records your voice only while you hold the microphone on. The audio is sent to OpenAI to turn it into text and is not stored by us.
  • AI features send the details needed to answer your question to OpenAI or Anthropic.
  • We do not sell your data and we do not show third-party ads.
  • You can delete your account and all family data at any time.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), country and language. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and an account identifier from that service.
  • Family and child profiles: your children's names, dates of birth, gender, photos you choose to add, and the family members you invite and their permissions.
  • Logs and health records: feeds, sleep, nappies, potty training, teething, medicines, symptoms, vaccinations, growth measurements, milestones, routines, meals, food allergies and notes you enter.
  • Emergency contacts: names and phone numbers you add.
  • Photos and memories: images you choose from your gallery or take with your camera.
  • Voice recordings: short audio clips when you use voice logging (see section 4).
  • Messages to Bloom AI: the questions you ask and the answers you receive (see section 5).
  • School finder: schools you save and school tour requests you send.
  • Support and feedback: messages you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and app data: device type, operating system, app version, a push notification token and crash or error information.
  • Approximate location: we estimate your country from your IP address to show prices in your currency and apply regional pricing. We do not collect precise or GPS location.
  • Purchase status: which plan you have and when it renews. Payment card details are handled by Google Play, the App Store or Stripe and never reach us.
  • Usage data: which features you use, so we can fix problems and improve the app.

4. Microphone and voice logging

  • Tiny Bloom asks for microphone permission only for voice logging. You can say things like “fed Sara 120 ml at 3 pm” and the app creates the log for you.
  • The microphone is on only while voice logging is open and listening. Recording stops when you tap Stop, cancel, close the screen, or after about 60 seconds.
  • The audio clip is sent over an encrypted connection to our server and then to OpenAI, which converts it to text. The text is then used to create the log.
  • We do not store the audio. It is processed in memory and discarded once the text is returned. The resulting log is saved to your account like any other log.
  • Voice logging is optional. You can deny or remove microphone permission in your device settings at any time and log everything by hand.

5. AI features

  • Bloom AI answers parenting questions, suggests meals and routines, and turns voice logs into entries.
  • To give a relevant answer, we send your message together with the context needed, such as your child's first name, age, allergies and recent logs, to OpenAI or Anthropic.
  • Under their API terms, these providers do not use this data to train their models and keep it only for a limited time for abuse monitoring.
  • We keep your conversation history in your account so you can see past answers. You can delete it with your account.
  • AI answers are general information, not medical advice. Always speak to a doctor about your child's health.

6. How we use your information

  • To run the app: show your family's data on all your devices and share it with family members you invite.
  • To provide reminders and notifications you turn on.
  • To provide AI and voice features.
  • To manage subscriptions and regional pricing.
  • To send account emails, such as sign-in codes, receipts and important service updates.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors.
  • To understand which features are used so we can improve them.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we do not sell it.

8. Children's privacy

  • Tiny Bloom is for parents and caregivers aged 18 and over. Children do not create accounts or use the app themselves.
  • Information about children is entered by their parent or caregiver, who controls it and can edit or delete it at any time.
  • We use children's information only to provide the app's features to their family. We never sell it, never use it for advertising and never share it except with the service providers listed below that are needed to run the app.

9. Who we share information with

We share information only with the following, and only as needed to run Tiny Bloom:

  • Family members you invite can see the children and logs you give them access to.
  • OpenAI (USA): voice transcription and AI answers.
  • Anthropic (USA): AI answers.
  • Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, Google Sign-In, Google Play billing).
  • Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store billing, push notifications).
  • RevenueCat (USA): manages in-app subscriptions across devices.
  • Stripe (USA): web payments.
  • Cloudinary (USA): stores and serves photos you upload.
  • Resend (USA): sends account and service emails.
  • Our cloud hosting provider: hosts our servers and database.
  • Authorities, if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
  • A buyer or successor, if Tiny Bloom is sold or merged. We will tell you beforehand.

10. International transfers

Some of the providers above process data outside your country, including in the United States. We use providers that protect data with contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

11. How long we keep information

  • Account and family data: while your account is active.
  • After you delete your account: your personal and family data is deleted within 30 days. Backups are overwritten within 90 days.
  • Voice audio: not stored (see section 4).
  • Billing records: kept as long as tax law requires. These contain transaction details only, not your family data.

12. Security

  • All data travels over encrypted HTTPS connections.
  • Passwords are stored as secure hashes. Sign-in tokens are kept in your device's secure storage.
  • Access to production data is limited to staff who need it to run the service.

No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

13. Your rights and deleting your data

You can access, correct, export or delete your information, and object to or restrict certain uses.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

14. App permissions

  • Microphone: voice logging only. Optional.
  • Notifications: reminders and family updates. Optional.
  • Photos and camera: only when you choose to add a photo. Optional.

You can change these at any time in your device settings.

15. Cookies on the website

The website and web app use cookies and local storage that are needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies.
